Driftly ("we", "us") makes a baby activity tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Plain language first; we mean it.
Free / Pro (on-device only): The activity logs you enter (sleep, feeds, diapers, etc.) and your child's first name and approximate age are stored encrypted on your device. We cannot see this data. It is never transmitted to us.
Pro+ (opt-in cloud): If you choose Pro+ and enable specific features, we process:
Driftly records information about a child, entered by a parent or caregiver (the user). The app is intended for use by adults. We collect the minimum necessary and, on Free and Pro, store it only on your device. Where a child's date of birth is provided on Pro+, it is used solely for age and milestone features. [Your counsel will confirm COPPA / GDPR-K obligations for your operating regions here.]
Only to provide the features you turn on: to show your logs and reports, to sync between caregivers you invite, and to generate summaries you request. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
We do not sell your data. Limited processors help run Pro+ features: our backend/hosting provider (stores encrypted data) and our AI provider (processes anonymized statistics for summaries). Each is bound to protect your data and use it only to provide the service.
On-device data is deleted when you delete it or uninstall the app. For Pro+, you can delete your account and associated cloud data at any time in Settings, which removes it from our systems.
You can export your data (CSV, Excel, or JSON) and delete everything from within the app. Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or erase personal data; contact us to exercise them.
On-device data is encrypted using your device's secure storage. Synced data is end-to-end encrypted before it leaves your device. No system is perfectly secure, but we design to minimize what we hold.

Driftly is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. Predictions such as the Drift Window are general estimates based on the data you log. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any concern about your child's health, sleep, or development.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for keeping your account credentials (Pro+) secure. Don't misuse the app or attempt to disrupt the service.
Pro and Pro+ are paid subscriptions billed through the app store. Prices and features are shown before purchase. You can manage or cancel through your app store account.
We may update these terms; we'll note the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
